At Sparkly we value the privacy of our visitors and customers. Sparkly B.V. (onwards: Sparkly) respects and protects the privacy of all visitors from her websites sparkly.dev and sparkly.zendesk.com, as well as all the customers from Sparkly.
Processing personal information at Sparkly
Sparkly advises, develops and supports services to organizations and their employees. To deliver these services Sparkly process personal and non-personal data about the organizations and individuals that use Sparkly's apps. This data is mostly contact related information, like name, email address and phone number.
Sparkly only collects contact related information, only when necessary and when:
- You reach out to us thru one of our websites or apps;
- You work for an organization that uses Sparkly's Free Apps;
- You are the Admin installing and activating a Sparkly Paid App;
- You reach out to Sparkly
Of course you are not obliged to leave these details. However with this basic contact information, very limited apps and services are available.
Sparkly collects, and stores your personal business data so you can use our apps and services. This personal business information is mainly stored for these goals:
- Financial agreements;
- Support services;
- Pro-active support, for instance when there are bugs or feature updates
Sparkly's paid apps do not give Sparkly any access to your Zendesk data whatsoever. This is by design.
Security of data
Sparkly makes sure there are excellent technical protection measures for personal business data that's stored in communication systems used by Sparkly.
Sparkly uses Zendesk for storing data of app users and providing support to these users. Sparkly uses the safest standard (SSO with Multifactor) for authentication in this environment. All connections are thru an SSL connection.
In order to get access to Zendesk, an employee of Sparkly needs to be logged in to Okta. Employees are only able to login to Okta if the following three condition are met:
- Connected to our VPN
- Login with their own credentials
- Use a second factor
For financial administration purposes, Moneybird and Stripe are used. For virtual meetings Zoom and Slack are used.
Providing your data to third parties
Sparkly will never sell or rent out your personal information. Sparkly will not provide your information to third parties without your prior consent, unless it is required to do so by law. Sparkly may (part of) your information to third parties if necessary for the performance of certain services.
The websites of Sparkly contain links to third party websites. Sparkly is not responsible for the compliance with privacy laws by these third parties.
Sparkly reserves the right to provide (part of) your data in the event of a transfer of ownership, for example through a merger or acquisition by another company. Sparkly will make every effort, if your information is provided to the acquiring company, to inform you of this, for example by email, by a message on the website or an advertisement in a national newspaper.
Use of Cookies
The websites of Sparkly use cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your computer by the system of the website you visit. A cookie contains information about your visit to the website. The cookies that Sparkly places on your computer are used for the following purposes:
- Remembering sessions and usernames;
- Improving the website by gaining insight into the use of the website;
- Improving our services
- It is possible to block cookies or not give permission for the use of cookies. The way in which you can do this depends on your browser, see for example the explanation of the Consumers' Association. By disabling cookies, certain parts of the Sparkly websites will function less well or no longer.
Access to personal data
You have the right to ask Sparkly what personal data it processes about you. Sparkly will respond to this request in writing at least within four weeks. Subsequently, you can request Sparkly to supplement, correct, delete or shield this information, in your request should indicate what changes you want. Also on this request will Sparkly in any case within four weeks respond.
Amendments to this Privacy Statement
Should Sparkly decide to change its Privacy Statement, these changes will immediately be incorporated in this Privacy Statement. We therefore advise you to consult this Privacy Statement regularly so that you are aware of any changes.
