Zendesk Sunshine was released in 2020 as separate product, today it is part of all new Zendesk Suite plans. Zendesk Sunshine consists of Custom Objects, Events and Profiles. All new features in Zendesk are related in one way or another to Sunshine.
Zendesk Sunshine allows you to build better Customer Service experiences. Most of our apps use Custom Objects, Events or Profiles.
In order to activate Zendesk Sunshine follow these steps:
- Login to your Zendesk account as an Admin
- Open the following link and replace {{your-zendesk-subdomain}} with your subdomain.
https://{{your-zendesk-subdomain}}.zendesk.com/admin/objects-business-rules/custom-objects/objects - If Custom Objects is not yet activated, you'll find a button to activate.
- Now wait until Custom Objects are activated (this process can take up to 15 minutes).
- Once activated return to the app or install any of our apps from here.
